little man tate cancel t in the park and oxegen festival appearances

Little Man Tate have been forced to pull their sets at both this weekend’s T In The Park and Oxegen festivals, due to an unprovoked attack on vocalist Jon Windle in Brighton resulting in a fractured jaw.

The band were set to play Oxegen on Saturday and T In The Park on Sunday, but an X-Ray has resulted in the frontman needing multiple stitches and a metal plate inserted into his mouth.

A spokesman for the band said: “The guys were out on Wednesday night celebrating with their new label Skint, when Jon was attacked by a group of thugs outside a club who were obviously looking for trouble. They badly cut up one of his eyes and fractured his jaw, so it wont be possible for the band to play either festival. They are really gutted.”

Little Man Tate are still expected to perform at this year’s V Festival in August.
